Welcome to the Travel, Risk, Insurance, Planning, Safety System This system is designed to fill the following needs Provide the university with information about travel by UC employees and affiliates Provide the traveler with insurance coverage information and travel tips Employees traveling on official University business will be covered with insurance for a wide variety of accidents and incidents while away from the campus or primary workplace. Upon completion of the short Traveler Insurance form, employees will be provided with information to use in an emergency while traveling on UC business both domestically and abroad. Registration is required for business trips out of state and to foreign countries. The on-line Field Safety Plan Generator is being beta tested and refined. The only 'active' site is UCR. Access to specific information about field safety at UC Berkeley is available through the link below. When this portion of the system is ready for wide use, notices will be sent. If you are planning a field trip for research or instructional purposes, select the individual campus field safety program link and get started with creating your own customized Field Safety Plan.
